Join Crystal Lamar of Nocturne Notions at Artifact Studio for an evening of creativity and community.
Date: December 19 from 6:30-8pm
Learn the basics of ice dyeing on sumptuous silk fabrics to create three one-of-a-kind handkerchiefs, plus receive a PDF with all the information covered so you can make more at home! All materials will be provided for you. If you have additional silk or cotton items, feel free to bring them, and we can work on those as well.
Ice dyeing is a dynamic, evolving practice shaped by various influences and adaptations. From its traditional Japanese roots to its contemporary manifestations, it continues to inspire artists and crafters worldwide. Embedding stories and experimentation into wearable art offers a unique opportunity to turn our bodies into mini museums.
