Join us for a FREE community event to commemorate the significance of Tieshka K. Smith’s exhibit, Documenting the Philadelphia Juneteenth Festival In Germantown: A Visual Chronicle of Community, Resilience and Freedom. Artist & photographer Tieshka K. Smith has published a book to accompany the exhibit.
Compositions of Black Joy: A Visual Chronicle of the Philadelphia Juneteenth Festival (2015-2022) will be a celebration of the stories, culture, and community that make the Philadelphia Juneteenth Festival in Germantown so powerful and enduring.
